The short version
You don't need an account to use GoPayoff. The debts you type into the calculator stay in your browser. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and they are gone when you close the page.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to count page visits and clicks on buttons and bank links. It sets analytics cookies to tell new visits from returning ones. Advertising features are turned off, so this data isn't used to target ads. Google receives the page, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. The debts you enter are never sent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. We use this only to improve GoPayoff, and we never sell it.
Links to banks
When you open an offer, you leave GoPayoff and the bank's own privacy policy applies. Some links may earn us a referral fee. That never changes how options are ranked: they're always sorted by what saves you the most.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, and Quebec's Law 25) you can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We don't collect names, emails, your debts, or anything that identifies you, so there is nothing tied to you.
